Welcome to The Cambridgeshire ACRE Members' Network

Our online network for members of Cambridgeshire ACRE

About Us

Cambridgeshire ACRE is a charity dedicated to supporting and strengthening rural communities, working alongside residents and groups to help improve the places, services and assets that are important to them.

We drive positive change to improve people’s lives and tackle rural disadvantage for those living and working in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

We support and encourage community-led action and strong local governance to increase long-term sustainability of local community life.

We act as a champion and facilitator for sustainable rural communities and use community development principles to empower people to understand and address the issues that they and their communities face.

Why Join Us

Being a member of Cambridgeshire ACRE opens up a wealth of advice and support. Membership is open to individuals who wish to support our work in rural communities; to community groups such as local councils and village halls; and to businesses and statutory agencies too.

All members will be given access to this online network as part of their membership package.

We hope this online community will be a place where our members can come together to give and receive support. We all need support from time to time and, in our experience, peer support is a really valuable way to empower people to do things for themselves and to inspire people to take those first steps.

This online network will provide a virtual forum where you can ask questions and share your own experiences and where we can share details of news, events and developments that we hope will be of interest to you.

Thank you

Thank you for visiting our members' network. We very much hope you benefit from being part of it.
